How to Clean and Care For Your Enclosures
One of the many advantages of PGT® Eze-Breeze® sliding panels is their ease of care and maintenance. The vinyl material is strong, resilient, and resistant to damage from the sun’s UV rays. The products come with a 10-year warranty, which provides protection from fading and deterioration. As long as you properly clean and maintain them at least twice a year, they should give you many years of hassle-free use!
We highly recommend E-cloth window cleaning cloths to clean your enclosure surfaces, as they provide a quick, easy way to clean without the use of additional cleaning products. It’s important to note that the use of chemicals and harsh abrasives could void your warranty. With E-cloth window cleaning cloths, all you need is some hot water, and you’re good to go! Simply follow the instructions in the Care and Maintenance PDF to tilt your sliding panels in for easy access to the surfaces that will need to be cleaned. Step 1: Fill a bucket with hot water. (Hotter is better for a thorough clean!) Dip the light green window cloth into the bucket, wring it out to remove excess water, and wipe the panels to remove all dirt, dust, debris, fingerprints, water spots, and grease. For best results, the cloth should be damp.
Step 2: Use the dark green Glass & Polishing cloth to dry the surface. If your windows are only slightly dusty, you can skip step 1—simply spray them with water and wipe them dry with the Glass & Polishing cloth.
